In 2014, the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts uncovered that selected photographs of nude young children, culled from ethnographic and nudist publications, were not lascivious exhibitions and therefore weren't pornographic; the court docket requested dropping of rates towards a prisoner who had been present in possession of the photographs.[
